Dankyi Mensah
Dankyi Mensah was born in 1978 and is one of Ghana’s emerging artists. His experimentation with various forms of media and materials to create a visual image on the dynamism of life in contemporary Ghana has received critical attention both locally and internationally. Dankyi Mensah considers his training at the GHANATTA College of Art and Design as his opportunity to begin expressing his views and opinions through his paintings. In his paintings, he addresses various themes that explore the reality of contemporary Ghana. He has produced works that are now in the homes of private collectors, hotel lobbies as well as galleries in Ghana and abroad. Dankyi Mensah has also had a number of solo and joint exhibitions in Ghana and abroad
